Bogey is a Catahoula/Black Mouth Cur cross that was born in Venice, Florida in January 2001.

Bogey was the first dog that Sue raised from a puppy.   Although Bogey is not a full Catahoula his Catahoula like behavior sold us on the breed. 

Bogey loves to bay hogs and tree coons and also loves to go along on trail rides.  Unfortunately Bogey has developed arthritis in his spine and his activities have been limited.  He still loves to play with the other dogs but we have to make sure he doesn’t play too hard. 

Bogey is retired from hunting and is now perfectly happy to nap in Tim’s Lazy Boy.
