T bar S’s Buster
T bar S’s Buster is a puppy from T bar S Catahoulas first litter that was born May 31, 2005. He is a cross between Buck’s Kunan and Florida Red Wolf’s Cajun Gypsy. How did Buster get his name? Buster was named after George Strait’s Blue Heeler. When Buster was about two weeks old he would wiggle away from the rest of the puppies and cuddle up to Tim. There was an undeniable bond established almost immediately between those two and Buster has been Tim’s boy from day one. Even though Buster is a bang up bay dog and a top notch guard dog he still has that goofy Catahoula side to him. It is not unusual for him show his “bad dog” side to a stranger then pick up a squeaky toy and run around like a puppy.
Buster is one of our best bay dogs. He has competed in hog baying, treeing and conformation at NALC shows.
Buster has the following wins. Conformation:
NALC Louisiana spring show 2006 3rd place 9-12 month male
NALC Mississippi 2006 3rd place never sired NALC litter
NALC Florida 2007 4th place never sired NALC litter
NALC Louisiana spring show 2007 2nd place never sired NALC litter
Buster has had some great runs but has not placed in baying at the shows. At the Florida 2009 show he had a perfect run going in “B” bay when he stepped out and disqualified with only one second left.
Buster has been retired from showing in conformation and is not available for breeding.
