BLT’s Black Jack

Jack is a solid black male that was born on June 13, 2006 to BLT Catahoulas in Palm City, Florida.  He is a cross between CHofSHCH BLT’s Touche, an OFA excellent, and Buck’s Jazmin. 

How did Black Jack get his name?  Black Jack (Jack) was named after Tim’s favorite Tennessee Whiskey, Jack Daniels.

Jack is a very strong bay dog and treeing dog and has also been shown in conformation.   Jack and Lefty had a good two dog run at the NALC FL show in 2008 and just missed placing. 

Jack has the following wins in conformation:

NALC Mississippi 2006         4^th place 3-6 month old male

NALC Florida 2007               4^th place 9-12 month old male

NALC Florida 2010                2nd place 2 Dog B Bay

Jack is an OFA good and has sired one NALC litter with Florida Red Wolf’s Cajun Gypsy.  We kept one puppy from that litter, T bar S’s Phantom.            

Jack loves to work but he, like all Catahoulas, loves also to play.  He does not have a favorite toy but will play with anything that is stuffed and squeaks.  He also loves Kong toys.  His favorite thing to do after he's been in the bay pen is to jump into a water trough he also loves to swim in the dog pool.
